Demo Day 7.0: 40+ new capabilities across Toddle

We unveiled 40+ new capabilities across planning, AI, assessment, reporting, behaviour management, daily operations, and more.

Curriculum Publishing

We launched Curriculum Publishing, giving schools a customizable public website to share their curriculum with families, boards, and accreditation bodies, always current and always accessible.

Flexible rubric builder

We rebuilt the rubric builder from the ground up. Schools can now create rubrics with custom or standards-based criteria, and configure them for grade-based, score-based, or qualitative evaluation.

One Gradebook for everything

We unified the Toddle Gradebook to bring internal and external assessment data, including NAPLAN, PAT, and MAP, into a single place for tracking and reporting.

AI, shaped by your values

We launched school-level AI guardrails, letting schools configure their identity, pedagogy, and content rules in one place, so every AI tool on Toddle reflects their context.

Behavior Points

We introduced Behavior Points so teachers can award or deduct points per incident, with full control over ranges, reset schedules, and what students and families see.

Attendance, redesigned

We introduced flexible marking methods, multi-layered tracking across classes and activities, absence resolution workflows, and kiosk integrations.

Demo Day 6.0: 5 new AI-powered learning interfaces on Toddle

We launched five new AI-powered learning interfaces, each designed to follow and respond to students' thinking in real time. Whether students are drawing, speaking, coding, writing, or building, they now get 1:1 feedback that was never possible at this scale.

Video Explorer

We launched Video Explorer to turn video lessons into engaging learning activities.

Speaking Practice Tool

We built the Speaking Practice Tool to help students hone their language skills with instant feedback.

Interactive Whiteboard

We launched the Interactive Whiteboard as a space for students to work through ideas visually, with AI clarifying labels and connections in real time.

Docs in AI Tutors

We embedded docs into AI Tutors, so tutors can give feedback on student drafts directly.

Coding in AI Tutors

We introduced coding as an interaction mode in AI Tutors, where AI acts as a pair programmer to help students write better code.

Demo Day 5.0: AI Insights on Toddle

We launched AI Insights, the world's first conversational data analytics tool for educators. Teachers can now talk to their Toddle data in natural language and instantly surface insights that used to take weeks to piece together.

We brought the power of AI to three of the most challenging aspects of teaching - curriculum design, assessment, and grading. We also unveiled nine key platform upgrades designed to streamline your daily experience on Toddle.

Curriculum Design Assistant

We launched an infinitely creative planning partner that supports teachers at every stage of curriculum design, from courses to units to lesson plans.

Assessment Builder

We gave teachers a faster way to build targeted assessments with AI. You simply define the learning objective, and Toddle AI generates a tailored assessment in minutes.

Interactive Whiteboard

We launched the Interactive Whiteboard as a space for students to work through ideas visually, with AI clarifying labels and connections in real time.

Grading Assistant

We launched the Grading Assistant to help teachers deliver meaningful feedback, much faster. It takes the first pass at grading student work, strictly to the criteria you set. You review, refine, and share.

Report Writing Assistant, improved

We rebuilt the Report Writing Assistant so teachers see the evidence behind every AI-generated comment and have more control over tone.

We introduced Courses on Toddle to better support how middle-school and high-school teams structure their curriculum.

Demo Day 3.0: AI Tutors on Toddle

We launched AI Tutors to help teachers deliver deeply personalized, immersive learning experiences at scale.

1:1 learning, for every learner

Teachers set a learning objective, and Toddle's AI Tutors adapt to each student's strengths, interests, and pace in real time as they work toward it.

Immersive learning like never before

Students debate historical figures, role-play characters from literature, get hot-seated on a topic, and learn in ways static content can't deliver.

Safe way to learn with AI

Teachers set each tutor's rules and see every conversation a student has with AI. All interactions are encrypted, and Toddle AI flags unsafe or off-topic content automatically.

Actionable insights for future instruction

Toddle AI analyzes every tutor conversation and surfaces clear next steps for teachers, at both the individual and class level.

Demo Day 2.0 : Towards a more connected tech stack for schools

From data analytics and wellbeing tools to SIS integrations and more, this edition was a big leap toward making Toddle a truly connected tech ecosystem for schools.

Behaviour Management

We introduced a way for teachers to log and track behaviour incidents on Toddle. Academics, attendance, and behaviour now live in one place on Toddle, giving teachers a holistic view of every student.

15+ new integrations

We launched integrations with SISs and content platforms that schools use most often. Veracross, Blackbaud, PowerSchool, Edpuzzle, and more.

Toddle Insights

We made it easy for teachers to see and act on all the data they collect on Toddle. Think prebuilt, visual dashboards for everything from performance and curriculum to behaviour, platform usage, and more.

Class Flow

We introduced a more flexible way for teachers to organize and share class materials on Toddle, and easily carry them across academic years.

Faster navigation

We introduced a Quick Access Menu and global search, so teachers move through Toddle faster and find what they need in fewer clicks.

Demo Day 1.0: Our BHAG and Toddle AI

We set our BHAG (Big Hairy Audacious Goal) of saving teachers 10 hours a week and took our first steps toward it with Toddle AI and four other foundational tools.

Toddle AI

We brought context-aware AI to planning and reporting. Teachers create engaging lessons and personalized report comments in a fraction of the time, with suggestions tailored to their curriculum, units, and student data.

Toddle Connect

We brought school communications into one place, helping students, teachers, and families stay connected through 1:1 messaging, channels, announcements, and auto-translate.

Toddle Worksheets

We launched multimodal worksheets and quizzes on Toddle, opening up a variety of creative question types like drawing, hotspot, matching, drag-and-drop, and tables.

Toddle DP Library

We launched the world's largest library of DP practice questions, with 8,500 exam-style questions across all popular DP subjects, complete with mock papers and step-by-step mark schemes.

Toddle for IBCP

We launched a purpose-built solution for the IBCP, so schools can run the entire IB continuum on Toddle. From Reflective Project and Service Learning to PPS, Language Development, and IBIS registration, the whole program lives in one place.

Demo Day is Toddle’s flagship product launch event, where we unveil our latest features alongside our partner schools. We’ve hosted seven editions in two years and launched more than 130 new capabilities across them.

How often does Toddle launch new features?

Toddle is continuously evolving alongside the partner schools we serve. We ship features and improvements throughout the year, a new one every six days on average, and every few months, we bring our most ambitious innovations to Toddle Demo Day.
